Anyone who has ever set a New Year’s resolution knows what it is like to make decisions when we are on an emotional high. It’s sticking to those decisions once the emotions are long gone, however, that separates those who end up accomplishing those goals from those who do not. We find that it’s those days, weeks, and months in-between the decision and the accomplishing that make or break people and it isn’t for the reasons that most people think. Most people assume that if they don’t accomplish something that they set out to it’s because they either aren’t capable  of reaching their destination, or that they simply weren’t passionate enough to make it happen. The mistake in this thinking is the assumption that if they had the capabilities they would have automatically had the emotional drive that would have pushed them forward until they accomplished their goal.

The reality is that any worthwhile goal requires consistent effort and the more extreme the results, the more extreme the time and effort that will be required for it to come to fruition. It’s this state of limbo, this purgatory, when we are putting out a disproportionate effort to the results that we are getting, that most people lose it. This is when the mental, emotional, and spiritual testing happens. This is when the hero is fighting their darkest battles, unsure of whether they have what it takes to survive. We are here to tell you that you have within you what it takes to not only persevere, not only survive, but to thrive. Faith in all its forms is required when going through the hero’s journey. Faith in self, faith in your capabilities, faith that a higher power has designed you to win. So stop whispering those little lies that we all like to tell ourselves. It can feel good to indulge in self loathing but it will become an addiction if you let it. It’s time to let go of those feelings that are holding you hostage. It’s time for you to know that you are good enough, you are in the right place at the right time because you choose for it to be, and only you can stop you from winning. When you understand that this journey through purgatory is part of success, and are able to keep your thoughts and emotions in check while going through it, you will come out the backside victorious.

Keep pushing & keep winning!
